Let's Talk About the Rest of the First Amendment In-Person
Participate in free and open discussions of important civil matters the first week of each month. In July, we'll discuss the freedom of religion, the press, assembly, and petition.
While we often hear about the importance of free speech, the First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees four other freedoms to the American people: the free exercise of religion, freedom of the press, the right to peaceably assemble, and the right to petition the Government.
Why are these freedoms important? What happens when they are infringed upon? Are there limits of these rights? Join us in a lively discussion about the First Amendment!
