Banned Book Club In-Person
Participate in free and open discussions of important civil matters the first Tuesday of each month. In October, we're celebrating the freedom to read by discussing the banned book TBD. We will discuss not only the book itself, but also the concepts of free speech and censorship as we encounter them in the modern world.

This program is part if our civic dialogue series, which includes the Banned Book Club and Let's Talk About It. Programs include:
- May 7th: Banned Book Club: Animal Farm - Censorshp, revolution and the road to totalitarianism
- June 6th: Let's Talk About Free Speech - What exactly is the freedom to speak?
- July 2nd: Let's Talk about the Rest of the First - Freedom of religion, press, assembly, and petition
- August 6th: Banned Book Club: The Outsiders - Censorship, familial dysfunction and violence
