Climate Resilience Work Session & Meet us at the trailhead In-Person

Meet us on-site at Observatory Mesa to learn about the 3 principles of fire adapted communities and see what's being done to protect the health of our forest with Neil Chapman, Wildland Forest Health Specialist. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and be sure to bring water!

To get to the site: take I-40 west from Flagstaff and exit at A-1 Mountain. Head north from the exit on A-1 Mtn Rd for ~.9 miles to FR 506. Take FR 506 ~1 mile to FR 515. The parking lot will be on your right after ~2.7 miles. If you would like to follow us out to the site, meet us at the City of Flagstaff’s Public Works parking lot at 9:20am (3200 W Route 66 Flagstaff, AZ 86001).
