LGBT+ Book Club

Ages 12+ are welcome*
*Please note some books are written for a slightly older audience

Join us to unite Flagstaff's LGBT+ community and allies by discussing a multi-generational book! Teen & adult participants will be encouraged to engage with one another, opening up possibilities of mentorship between the generations. Conversations will be facilitated, leading participants to their own answers while gaining diverse insights.

We are pleased to be offering this program in partnership with several supportive community organizations whose logos will be featured next to their book selection!

The book Some Girls Do by Jennifer Dugen is recommended for ages 12+. In this YA contemporary queer romance from the author of Hot Dog Girl, an openly gay track star falls for a closeted, bisexual teen beauty queen with a penchant for fixing up old cars.

Books are available by library check-out, digital e-book, digital audiobook, AND book club lending. Looking for a copy? Call 928-213-2348 to request it to be set aside OR visit the East Flagstaff Community Library and ask for a copy at the desk.

Book club meetings will be over Zoom, until further notice. Please email efclstaff@flagstaffpubliclibrary.org for the zoom information.

If you require any type of reasonable accommodation because of a physical, sensory or mental disability to participate in this program, please call 928-213-2330 (Downtown) or 928-213-2348 (EFCL). Three days' notice is requested.
