Poetry Out Loud In-Person

Poetry Out Loud meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from April to September to read and discuss poetry from that month's poet or theme. Pick up selected materials for the month from the Downtown Library Information Desk. Weather permitting, Poetry Out Loud will meet on the back lawn outside of the library. Alternatively, the meeting will be in the Downtown Library Community Room.

This month we will be reading poems with the theme of Hope and Resilience/"Try to praise the mutilated world." We will read and discuss an eclectic selection of contemporary and classic poems about what it means to find and maintain hope.
