Poetry Out Loud meets on the 2nd Friday of every month to read and discuss poetry from that month's poet or theme. Pick up materials from the Downtown Library Information Desk. Weather permitting, Poetry Out Loud will meet on the North West Lawn outside of the library. This month we will be reading poems with the theme of Oceans of Opportunities/"Invisible Fish." We will read and discuss an eclectic selection of contemporary and classic poems about the sea including Matthew Arnold's "Dover Beach," "Invisible Fish" by Joy Harjo, and "Diving into the Wreck" by Adrienne Rich.
