Sunburns, cuts, scrapes, poison ivy, bee stings, bug bites, nose bleeds, and puncture wounds are just a sampling of the minor injuries and accidents that are common occurrences in families, especially during summertime activities. Using a “show and inform” format, this class teaches basic first-aid response to trauma using the arsenal from Mother Nature’s medicine cabinet. In addition to learning what and how to use homeopathic and botanical preparations for minor injuries, participants will also be able to assemble, if they choose, a natural first-aid kit from the products available at the medicinary.
