Set on a retrofuturistic mining colony, Con-Am27, Outland follows Federal Marshal O' Niel (Sean Connery) as he uncovers conspiracy and corruption on Jupiter's moon, Io. Marshal O'Niel begins to investigate a serious of violent deaths on Con-Am 27, and finds himself pitted against the corrupt mining foreman, Mark Sheppard (Peter Boyle). As the tension - and body count - rises, O'Niel finds himself pitted against a deadly drug ring. As the clock ticks closer to the arrival of hired killers, and with no help coming, Marshal O' Niel must decide whether to run, or stand alone against a corrupt system, and certain death.
