Meet us at the trailhead: Saddle Mountain In-Person
Join us as we hike part way up this extinct volcano, to enjoy spectacular views of the aspens on the San Francisco Peaks.
What you'll need: Transportation to and from the trailhead, water, snacks, sun protection, and shoes for hiking. Please no dogs on this adventure.
How to get there: from Flagstaff, take Highway 180 north approximately 20 miles to miles (milepost 236.5). Turn right onto Forest Road 514, then after 2.6 miles turn left onto Forest Road 550. Drive approximately 2 more miles, to Forest Road 550A and park. This road, climbing the mountain on the left is the trail.
