Meet us at the trailhead: Kachina Trail In-Person
This moderate trail takes you through a section of the Kachina Peaks Wilderness and highlights the regions high forest and broad, sloping meadows. If monsoons arrive, this will be a good hike for wildflower and mushroom viewing! Plan on hiking 3-4 miles.
What you'll need for the hike:
Transportation to and from the trailhead. Water, snacks, sun protection, and shoes for hiking.
How to get to the trailhead:
Take US 180 ~7 miles northwest to Snowbowl Road (FR 516). Turn right. Drive ~7 miles to the ski area. Turn into the first parking lot on the right. The trailhead is located at the south (far) end of the parking lot.
